Omaris Z. Zamora-García, PhD is  is a transnational Black Dominican Studies scholar. Her current book project tentatively titled,  AfroLatinx (Trance)formations: Poetics of Embodied Black Archives and Feminist Epistemologies of engages the theoretical formation of AfroLatina feminist epistemologies through an analysis of transnational Dominican women’s narratives in literature and performance.
